Never again! I should've realized after the first time that it is not a business to trust. But I had to learn my lesson the hard way. The first time it was a minor problem. Just being mislead by Amanda who provided a rental, assuring me that the rate was going to be within the limits of my car insurance. Several months later, after receiving automated collection calls from Hertz (and wasting hours and days before figuring that the rate was higher than what my insurance paid for), I had to pay the difference. Just on time for our refinancing... The second time, however, was a BIG TIME back-stubbing!!! After being in a car accident - instead of taking my car to the dealership, I took it again to Paul's. The third party insurer was trying to save a buck (of course!) at my expense, and when Paul called them to tell them that he had identified the reason for the (gun shot like) popping sound coming from my car, he ganged-up with the insurer, and without any detailed diagnosis agreed with him that it was not related to the accident. I had no clue what he did until today, when I received the letter from the Missouri Commissioner of Insurance with the included response from the third party insurer. I should've listened to my husband and taken my car to be repaired by the dealership. Paul's business is dependent (on regular basis) on the insurance companies, and in delicate situations like this, he will go with them, not being considerate about the truth or his customers well-being. What a shame!!!
