Pat's steakhouse has a wonderful Irish ambiance. The dining room was elegant, but rustic. The waiters were attentive and knowledgeable. The Wine selection was outstanding, though slightly overpriced. The crux of the matter is the chow. The 28oz porterhouse was the best offered, but was not comparable to other steakhouses in Louisville area. The greenbeans were drenched in bacon fat, not my cup of tea. The filet was undercooked, so back to the kitchen, thus eliminating the filet from a home-run. Good steaks, but not in compitition with Ruth's Chris or Del Fresco's.
Pros: ambiance, wine
Cons: value
