Professional nursing to help plan and carry out day-to-day care, including state-of-the-art pain and symptom management.
- Coordination of medications, medical equipment and medical supplies.
- Hospice aides to provide additional help with personal care and hygiene.
- Skilled counseling in regard to end-of-life issues.
- Occupational, Speech and Physical Therapies, if needed, for palliative care.
- Registered Dietician
- Medical Social Services to link families with financial, legal or other social resources.
- Spiritual care provided by the Hospice Chaplain, in coordination with the family''s own religious network.
- Trained volunteers to offer services to families, including respite care, assistance with household tasks and errands.
- Bereavement program, including individual and group work.
- Coordination of short-term inpatient care for pain and symptom management and for respite care.
- The Hospice Team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
