There are so many Irish bars and restaurants in the DC metro area but Pats is one of the better establishments. This place has a great atmosphere to listen to live Irish music. I’m happy to report the food is very good Irish cuisine and they pour a perfect pint every time. You should try this place out if you are looking for a fun night out in Alexandria. more

Wonderful Irish Pub in Old Town 8/19/2005

They have everything you would expect, great Irish food, good drinks and imported beers, live Irish music most nights and a friendly staff. An added benefit is the back patio, which on nice evenings is packed. It overlooks a courtyard and can be quite secluded and intimate. Wonderful location for a group outing. more
