We were in the Lloyd district on business and stopped by this place on a whim. It was incredible, I had the BUTTERNUT SQUASH-GORGONZOLA RAVIOLI and I can honestly say it is the b...

It's nice and the food is good, but charging for bread?? How hard up are they to make a buck? This just seems wrong.

Mouthwatering Experience! 8/1/2002

This cozy italian restaurant is where we would take our family and friends anytime. Walking through the door with the mirrored walls and warm atmosphere is very welcoming. We were greeted with a smile and prompt friendly service. The wine list was very nice. Our food was served hot and the taste was mouthwatering. This made for a excellent dining experience. I hope they build more Pastini restaurants around town. Pros: Inexpensive, Great Service, Excellant Food more

Suprisingly high-end food 7/30/2002

I have been to Pastini a half-dozen times. I am always impressed by the quality of their food. The dishes have amazing flavor and remind me of food at ""higher end"" restraurants. Salads and antipasti are tasty as well. The soft drink and wine selection is decent. Staff service is good. A fantastic value in my opinion. Pros: inexpensive, quick, takeout more

Surprisingly Affordable 6/25/2002

Very rich and tasty food at affordable prices! Nice atmosphere and staff, too. Wish there was one on the west side! I'll be visiting again =) more

Yummy and Affordable! 6/23/2002

I've been to Pastini 4 times and have had a great experience with every visit! Sometimes my husband's in the mood for pasta but I'm not, thanks to Pastini's diverse menu there are so many other chioces. I really like their salads and sandwiches. The servers are very friendly and the location is great. Plus, you can easily get a meal for under $10. What more could you ask for!! more

Im not a past fan, but I was impressed. 6/20/2002

I am not a pasta fan. Will not pay to have pasta at a restaurant. On a whim, I took my wife there and was totally impressed from the get go. The food was not only great (I could not believe that food this good existed) but the atmosphere and the neighborhood setting was wonderful. I cant get enough pasta now. Pros: the food, the ambience, the staff Cons: parking more

Great find! 6/18/2002

This is my son's and my favorite restaurant! Great food, great prices and great service. What else do you go to a restaurant for? We've now been there several times, never spent more than $25 for the two of us, and have never been dissappointed. If you love pasta, you've got to love Pastini's! Pros: great food, inexpensive, good service Cons: can be noisy more

Yummm! 6/17/2002

The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is fun. Mushroom lovers try the Linguini al Funghi. But if you really want to spoil yourself have the Tortellini Gorgonzola. more

The Old World at it's best 6/17/2002

I grew up in an Italian home - my grandmamma was from the old contry. I have yet to find a restaurant on the west coast that reminds me of her cooking - Pastini's brought on a rush of childhood memories; Sitting on the stoop smelling her sauces simmer. The hadn-rolled pasta drying on her wooden rack, and grandmamma alway puttering around the kitchen - thanks for the great food and the memories!! more

Very Italian! 6/17/2002

The menu is fresh and moderate in price, prompt service, especially during the noon hour. My personal favorite is the Tortellini Gorgonzola with a side of Bruschetta and of course an Italian Soda. The children's cheese pizza was a big hit. Pros: service, menu, pricing Cons: parking more

Zany good times! 6/16/2002

Well folks! I'll tell you all now... should you brave the restaurant scene seeking satisfactory dinning pleasure ~ Pastini's will exceede your expectations. With a new location to hit the NW side in the not-terribly-distant-future, your bases will be covered! Make sure you check out my favorite; Fuscilli alla Roma and wash that down with a San Palegrino Aranciata (similar to carbonated orange juice) ~ great summer meal! If they could secure the parking space adjescent to their SE area... I could be a lunch-time regular! Ciao folks! May all your dinning experiences be this favorable! regards, -Zane Pros: Food, Service Cons: Parking more
