I was given Dr. Passler's name in the run-up to my wedding, when I fretted about those "last five pounds" I wanted off. Dr. Passler is friendly and straightforward in discussing your goals, as well as making recommendations based on his assessment of you overall health. He is very thorough, running various tests to devise a plan that benefits you, while improving your health.
After a week of following his plan, which cut out certain foods and included natural supplements, protein bars, and shakes to complement your meals, I found the weight was coming off pretty quickly. I feel that I looked and felt better than I had in a while, and it was probably a long term plan that I could have stuck to with my own modifications.
It's not covered by insurance, nor are the supplements and shakes he provides. His consultation fees are a pretty penny, so this is an entirely personal choice to be made as far as expenses go.
