Pasquesi Home & Garden

I have shopped at the Barrington Pasquesi garden center for years. They always had a good selection at medium to high prices. I have found in the past couple of years that they often do not have what I'm looking for. Recently I went in to see if they had morning glories and they told me to come in the following week. So I called the following week and they still did not have them. But what bothered me wasn't that they didn't have them, it was how I was treated on the phone. The first woman who answered put me on hold so that someone from the nursery could ask my question. It took over 5 minutes for someone to answer and then the woman said, ""Everyone is busy today, do you have a question?"" That is the first thing she said. I asked if they had morning glories and she heavy sighed (!) and said to hold on. When she came back all she said was, ""No we don't have them""! She was just going to hang up and I asked if they were going to have them. Her answer was basically how am I supposed to know call in next week!! She spoke as if I were really a bother and I asked her what her name was, thanked her and hung up. I will not be shopping there again. I find that the staff used to be a little friendlier and now most of them are unfriendly. There are many places I can buy plants, flowers, and home decor. more

Knowing that I am paying an exorbitant premium at Pasquesi's, I made the choice to shop there for the convenience. On the surface the employees and environment are pleasing, but just wait until you have a problem that must be brought before management! I was simply astounded at the discriminatory way I was treated by Harry the manager & Mr. Pasquesi himself!!! Being the long term loyal customer that I was, I had expected not only to be treated respectfully but fairly in which neither happened. In order for Harry to cover his highly inappropriate discriminatory statement he made to me, he had to lie to Mr. Pasquesi about that statement. Mr. Pasquesi supported Harry 100%, and the rest is history. I will never step foot in that store again! and would recommend the same to everyone else! more

I have been a customer at Pasquesi's for many years now and do NOT have a designing bone in my body. Fortunately, the associates at your store have given me amazing and creative ideas on how to make my inner home a showplace and my containers have such curb appeal, they are the envy of my neighbors........ more

You can't beat Pasquesi's when it comes to plants for your home and garden. Huge variety of outdoor plants to choose from. They have a variety of soaps and gifts as well as a huge selection of toys and food for pets and outdoor wildlife. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Easy parking. Super clean and well organized store inside and outside. PROS: Huge variety of outdoor plants, pet and wildlife items, gifts. CONS: None more
