He got his first taste of medicine while serving as a surgical technician in a MASH unit in the Army. Upon returning to school after his discharge, he received a bachelors degree in Chemistry and worked in Industry for seven years, but the call to return to medicine was great and he returned to Medical School, receiving his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine in 1988 from the California College of Podiatric Medicine. After doing his residency at the prestigious L. A. County/U.S.C. Medical center, he settled on the central coast and has been here ever since. Come on in, he'll take good care of you.
