Food quality is very bad! Shrimps were not cooked properly and had raw smell! No taste in food.\r Furthermore they used some junk color in food which made my finger yellow and it was not cleaned even after clearing with soap!!! more

Worms in drinking water, flies buzzing around, spoilt food being served for dinner from the a-la-carte menu, a management which is sitting on laurels over the past years of a well-established restaurant (when there were lesser number of Indian restaurants in the DFW area). \r \r You can take your family and kids here, but eat at your own health risk.\r \r Quality of the food at Pasand in Irving has deteriorated significantly over the years. I was here with my wife and we were served spoilt Aloo Poori - potatoes were spoilt. We asked for a replacement and got it. Then we dealt with the flies buzzing around. Straw that broke the camel's back was the worm floating around in the drinking water they served.\r \r When I brought these to the manager's attention as serious health risks and a concern, he gave me a half-hearted apology while organizing his receipts for the day and not even having the decency to look me in the eye. \r \r I have eaten in DFW Indian restaurants for the past 10+ years, including at Pasand before. I was shocked not just by these health risks, but also the indifference shown by the manager, when I raised these as concerns.\r \r There used to be a time when this restaurant was good - very sad. Best Indian grub I have ever eaten. I have been to all of em...the lights that say ""Indian Restaurant"" make me a sucker to go in and check all of em out. I have been to all ...trust me.\r \r This restaurant should be on the Food Network! Everything here is served hot (warm) and if you want, very very spicy.\r \r Anything you order on the menu is just right! There is not one thing that I have ever wanted to send back!\r \r If you have a problem with this place, msg me with your number...Ill meet you up at Pasand and have a meal with you---\r \r TEN MORE HOURS TIL the buffet opens up for lunch!\r \r Oh, its only 20 mi from the airport---I have gone for a bite on layovers at DFW too...lol\r \r I love this place! This is by far the best Indian in DFW. I am a huge fan of Indian after trying numerous other places in DFW I keep thinking Pasand has the best food around. The spices are real and when you order your food hot it isn't dumbed down for American taste buds. The service is efficient, but don't expect mindless small talk. The Irving location and the Richardson location are both excellent choices to satisy your craving for Indian cuisine. Pros: Excellent food in a casual setting Cons: Service can be a little dry more
