I just started to go to Parkway Pet Clinic and am not disappointed. My little kitty “Beauty” had been having fur ball - like symptoms and a bad cough. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes and the fee was very reasonable.\r more

My dog required cherry eye surgery and I searched everywhere for a vet with experience and confidence to do a good job. Most places I called referred me to a vision specialist which was too costly. After calling over 5 places, I spoke with Dr. Tya Henderson at Parkway Pet Clinic and knew this was the right place.\r \r Dr. Tya Henderson was very personable and gave us a very clear run down of what will happened during the surgery. She was also very honest about whether or not she needed additional blood work done. I didn't feel pressured to have the extra blood work since she said that it is very unlikely that my dog will have a bad reaction to being anesthetized. \r more

This was my first visit but was very impressed with Dr. Henderson and the friendly staff who answered several of my questions. The visit for was a basic checkup and vaccinations for my new puppy. Doctor took extra time answering additional questions about skin problems and providing additional precautionary suggestions to keep her healthy. Already scheduled to go back with my cat. Good prices and friendly service. A thumbs up to Parkway Pet Clinic! more

I took my dog to this clinic today she was there for more than 6 hours! The thing that i dont understand is that why they had to keep her that long, i simply wanted a check-up. I will never take my animal there again i did not like that service! After, i recieved her she was so thirsty! I think they dont even give them water or take them to the restroom! When i got there to recieve my animal i saw an owner waiting to pick up her animal. When she recieved her she was crying and looked very scared! I had been in other places and the service has been way better! When they called to ask if we could go pick my dog up we said ""yes we are on our way"" The assistant responded ""what time are you gonna get here"" ""i wll be there in 40 minutes"" I said When I got there they were still not ready to give me my pet we still stayed there for 30 more minutes! I DONT RECOMEND THIS PET CLINIC!!! more

I had to bring my Allie (cat) in to have a toe amputated, surgery went great. But, what I find wonderful is the compassionate people who work there, in particular, Julie. I needed special help with a big problem and she was right there to take it on and help me solve it. She went way out of her way to help. I can't thank her enough or Dr. Mayor for his help as well. I have and will continue to recommend Parkway Pet Clinic to every pet lover I know. more

Parkway has helped us tremendously twice now, within a year with our beagle. I cannot say enough about my appreciation for this clinic. They are incredible and generous folks! We couldn't afford to help our dog after his car accident a year ago and they helped us not only by reducing our bill but also helped us to find resources to help pay. They still performed the services they did not charge for to save us some of the bill. This time around they again reduced the bill dramatically. Very professional, empathetic and warm! Our beagle is doing well. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts! more

Have been a customer for over 10 years. I even tried another clinic closer to home that was no comparison, and came back to Parkway. They offer excellent care to both of my dogs at a reasonable price. They spend time with me, answer my questions, answer the phone when I call, and care about my 2 special dogs. I had three cats at the time of my last appointment here. (My eldest cat recently passed away at the ripe old age of 15... pretty good since he was 25 lbs of muscle in his prime) This was my first visit to the clinic and I was surprised at how reasonable Parkway Pet's prices were. It cost me almost $100 less than the last visit with my previous vet in Delaware, and the cats needed more shots as they were due for their rabies shots. I met with Dr. Tya Henderson and I was thrilled with how thorough she was in the exam. She felt a lump in my youngest male cat's body that was higher than where the bladder usually was, so to make sure it was the bladder and not a tumor, she did a urine draw (free of charge I do believe). This cat is 5 years old, has had multiple vet visits before, and no one has ever noticed this before We also had bloodwork done on my older cat, and when I went back in to discuss the results, she was very patient with my questions and concerns. Overall, I was really impressed with everything they did with the animals, and even though the bloodwork results weren't all good news, I was very happy with the professionalism on all levels. more

We have been taking our pets to Parkway Pet Clinic for over 15 years and have had nothing but excellent caring service for our pets. Unfortunately, we also have had pets that have required surgery. I appreciate the effort they put out to provide accurate estimates (means calculated approximation by the way). It is a diificult process to calculate every piece of equiptment, dressing and med that will be used. They are trying to prevent nasty surprises up front so you don't experience them post-op when you are then stuck for the full bilI. (Which would make them very ethical in my opinion.) We have found after visiting several clinics that their rates are very economical compared to many vets, while still providing excellent, loving care. One surgery was more than we could afford and they had Care Credit available. Another time we were able to decide on what level of preventitive post care we wanted to have provided to help save on costs. This father/daughter team is also very dedicated to the animal shelter providing special services to newly adopted from the Escondido shelter. more

On December 3, I took my little dog to Parkway Pet Clinic because she had a tumor on her neck. The doctor urged me to give her another rabies shot even though she just had one (alighnment) and said he'd had a patient with a tumor like Nancy's. He told her to ""keep an eye on it"" and the dog subesequently died from cancer.\r \r I got an estimate, $564.40-$715. I went home and found someone to loan me the money. I had $605, and without the catheter and blood panel (the assistant told me this) I could just swing the surgery,\r \r I went back to tell the staff it had to be $605, or I wouldn't be able to pay for it. Three hours after the visit, my estimate had been ""Updated"" to $790 and no one at the clinic would give me a reason why.\r \r When I wouldn't let them get away with it, the girl said, ""What do you want me to do?"" I said, ""You could apologize.' She glared at me. It wasn't a mistake, it was an update and apparently, I was just too dumb to figure that out.\r \r I protested in front of their office on East Valley Parkway. They called the police on me twice, and the police said I had every right to be there. They said I had badgered clients. The cop laughed at them. He said he had been watching me since there first call and I had been in the same spot the whole time.\r \r I'm sorry that the officers have to waist there time, but I feel this is necessary under my right to freedom of speech. I go the sidewalk in front of the clinic every day, not knowing what lie they will tell next. The surgeon's husband has harassed me, and the assistant came out and called me crazy. ""Now we know what we're dealing with,"" she said. The officers THEY had called told me not to talk to them, so I didn't. This time, I called the police for my own protection. I was afraid they lie about my activities. The officer said they already had. They were making up ""all kinds of stuff."" Where is the surveillance tapes? Where are the witnesses or the customers themselves? They don't have anything like this, only lies. These aren't the kind of people I want to have working on my animals. more

This is a family business with a father and daughter both veterinarians. I have seen the daughter vet for all my visits and she is fantastic. more
