I will use this venue again 4/20/2011

words can not describe how wonderful my wedding day was and parkway by the lakes was one of the major reasons for that. They made it as stress free as possible for us and did everything in there power to make sure all of our needs were met. i would refer anyone and everyone i can in the future to use this venue. more

Great ideas! 4/6/2011

Jerry and his staff were amazing! Jerry was very helpful with planning the reception. Especially since I was planning the wedding in another state. We spoke over the phone often, and had great ideas to help me plan. He was also able to work around my schedule to meet with my when I was in town, which made the planning process less stressful. more

Unfortunately someone named Evil Dawny, (interesting name???) a disgusting foul mouthed drunk that the PARENTS had to ask to remove her from the reception, unfortunately someone like that can submit a reveiw and expect you to believe it. Another person can pose as the bride and web sites do not even bother to check and that person can write a negative reveiw, even though the mother of the bride can send us the most AWESOME thank you note and compliment us, unfortunately this person posing as the bride named "Li" can write bogus information and expect you to believe it. Fortunately for you and me as consumers, legitimate web sites like The Knot, The Wedding Channle, and Wedding Wire.com verify these reveiws, good and bad, and amazingly these negative experts are nowhere to be found when someone checks on them. Their sudden area of expertise and their "valid opinions" fall by the way side. Please double check when reading ANY reveiw, as you will quickly see, the credibility of believ more

We had our wedding here in June 2010 and it was great! I had the best time and if I had to do it all over again, I would go there again. The food was great, Jerry and his staff were the best! more

Cheap wedding is what you get. 5/19/2009

Wedding decorations and banquet hall were done very nicely. Owner/Planner guy was at the wedding, the whole time, wearing a polo shirt and shorts, very tacky. Bartenders were very rude. Absolutely was no annoucement for dinner bar closing, I know that the bar always closes for dinner, but there is always an announcement.The food was terrible. Numerous complaints about the bartenders. Then I tried to tell the owner guy about his bartenders, very politely, and he loudly cut me off saying "NO", "NO", "NO", to everything I tried to say. Very unprofessional. Then the man proceded to follow me around the rest of evening, everywhere except the bathroom. I tried to tell the father of the groom the situation, there he is, two feet behind me evesdropping. The service staff was very nice, fast, and efficient, but I would never book an event there, nor will I ever attend an event there, ever. Pros: Cheap rates Cons: Poor customer service more
