Parkway Apartments & Townhomes

This is an awful place to live, have had three different water leaks in four months with mold and have had to deal with unresponsive maintenance men.The people who moved in above us were so loud we had to call the police all the time. Finaly the police told us they couldn't do anything about them unless they could be heard 50 feet away outside. The police are here every nite because of all the trouble makers that live out here. So I don't recommend anyone move here.\r more

DO NOT RENT HERE! This is a horrible place to live. I leased here without viewing the apartments in person. The quality of the facilities is horrible, the management is rude, and the people that live here are shady. I have trouble sleeping almost every night because of noisy neighbors, and when I complain nothing is done. IF YOU ARE A STUDENT, THIS IS A HORRIBLE PLACE TO LIVE IN. more

I moved in two months ago, asked for a few things to be repaired, reminded them again a month ago and I am still waiting. My closet door is broken, the faucet leaks, and the fire alarm goes off every time I shower because the fan needs to be repaired. The pictures online do not show the true colors of this place. This place is filthy, cigarette butts everywhere, and tenants don't pick up their dog feces. Thankfully, my immediate neighbors are nice and the rent is affordable. more

The water heater in the apartments upstairs has been leaking for 2 weeks, causing all sorts of damage and mold to our bathroom. Complained to the office 4 times, but we still haven't seen anyone come. This is a pattern of behavior that included our fridge (lost $100 worth of food), and our heater (in February). I do write positive reviews when warranted, but rarely any bad ones, hoping that there is more positive than negative out there... but i KNOW that everyone at this place hates it. more

Well, I have lived at Sagamore Ridge for 3 years only because I needed to find an apartment ASAP in 2008 and then I signed two more leases because I wasn't sure I could get another apartment with my credit. Anyways, at the beginning I loved the people that worked in the office. I don't know what happened. I think maybe new management took over, but they are useless and RUDE! Only a couple of office employees are cool, but unfortunately they have no way to change how terrible things are. Not only is the management absolutely terrible, but the maintanence is SOOOOOO SLOW. It took me over A YEAR to finally get a new, working dishwasher. The floors have severe soft spots, there is mold in the hall areas, there has been glass in the parking lot for over a month now. I will say, it is expensive to live there, but cheap for as close is it is to Purdue. If you decide to move here, have low expectations! more

pros: -affordable, close to campus, relatively quiet cons: -maintenance slow to respond (takes up to 4 weeks for them to fix anything including when ac is not working!) at times never even show up - if have a bike be careful..high chances it will be stolen - poor management - pet owners don't pick after their dogs- be careful don't walk on grass! more
