Thank you for the help with the kitty ring worm, it was a much more workable solution (griseofulvin) than the proposed. "dip" method. We have great confidence in your advice. You also knew how we could obtain an approximate cost. more

Polite and Caring 9/22/2011

Dr. Mangini and his staff were very polite and caring to both me and to Sally. Dr. Mangini took the time to instruct me as to the proper feeding quantities for Sally (since she is just a little bit over weight). It is now one week later and Sally is still not completely happy with the arrangement, but I am being firm. That's a step up! Thank you, Dr. Mangini. more

Extremely Pleased 8/26/2011

I apologize for the delay in posting a review. As always, I am extremely pleased with the products, services, and care provided to my dogs. For this visit, I just came by to pick up some eye drops and fluids, etc. The staff are always warm, professional, and knowledgeable, treating you and your pet like "family", but at the same time, very professional. Thank you for all your care of my pets over the years! They live a long time when they're treated at Parkville Animal Hospital. more

Owner Message

  • It is owned by Duane S. Mangini V.M.D. and is a Maryland corporation (Duane S. Mangini V.M.D., P.A.). Parkville Animal Hospital has purposely remained small (one or two veterinarians maximum) to preserve the intimacy and exceptional veterinarian - client communications that only a small business can provide, without sacrificing quality of care. We first opened on March 15, 1985 and originally occupied one store (formerly a pizza parlor) in the middle of a small strip shopping center at 8600 Harford Road in Parkville. As business grew, we expanded to an adjoining storefront in 1988 and a third storefront in 1995. The expansions allowed room for additional examination rooms, a larger surgical suite, a dental suite, well-pet boarding runs, digital xray machine and an ultrasound/telemedicine room.
