The vet clipped her nails for free AND 5/25/2012

The vet clipped her nails for free AND waived the exam fee because I took her in off the street!! I couldn't believe the generosity. She answered all my questions and gave me great advice on how to cure the separation anxiety my puppy is experiencing. She really took her time, and it was clear she truly cared. more

Our cats loved the sofa that they had their! They probably felt like they were at home jumping all over it. I was so surprised how comfortable they seemed. I've never seen a cat actually play around at the vet's before! They were even purring at one point. Great & comfortable place to go, more

very kind and Boris didn't fuss at all with him 10/19/2011

We had a great experience with this vet! Shortly after adopting our new kitten, Boris, we took him here for his initial well-kitten visit. We were afraid we would have to wait a long time because we got there early, but they took us as soon as the vet was available and we didn't wait long at all. The vet, Dr. Mangini, was very kind and Boris didn't fuss at all with him. He addressed all of our concerns. The primary reason that I was so happy with him, though, was because he listened to my husband talk about our previous cat's death, which has been hard on him. Her kindness and willingness to hear him out was wonderful. I expect that we'll be coming here with Boris for as long as possible more

Owner Message

  • It is owned by Duane S. Mangini V.M.D. and is a Maryland corporation (Duane S. Mangini V.M.D., P.A.). Parkville Animal Hospital has purposely remained small (one or two veterinarians maximum) to preserve the intimacy and exceptional veterinarian - client communications that only a small business can provide, without sacrificing quality of care. We first opened on March 15, 1985 and originally occupied one store (formerly a pizza parlor) in the middle of a small strip shopping center at 8600 Harford Road in Parkville. As business grew, we expanded to an adjoining storefront in 1988 and a third storefront in 1995. The expansions allowed room for additional examination rooms, a larger surgical suite, a dental suite, well-pet boarding runs, digital xray machine and an ultrasound/telemedicine room.
