STAY AWAY!! They are also related to Legacy. Administration tried to bill us for Medicare Covered Therapy as well as Medicare. This is called double billing which is unethical. Then they tried to bill us for days she was never there. Very unethical administrative staff!! They do not tell you that they charge more for copays on medication than Walgreens, Walmart, etc Also, therapy department are the worst we have seen in 5 years. They do not listen whatsoever and provide no value added. They leave you a message and when you call back no one answers. You call back again and leave a message with the operator and then they never call. They have no access to email. At nearly $200 private per day, it is a complete waste of money. Made my mom sit in a wheelchair the first 5 days and she does not use a wheelchair. They would not let her go to the bathroom on her own and would not come when she pressed the call button making her urinate herself. She was demoralized. more

My mom really like it at Parkside Villa. The therapists were all very good at what they do, and the therapy room is huge! The staff did such a great job- she was able to come home after a couple weeks of rehab. It is a beautiful place- we recommend it highly!! more

Top Notch Nursing Home 3/20/2009

Every room has a big beautiful window. Flat screen TV's, community rooms with couches, tables and chairs and TV. Family is invited to eat with their loved ones. Staff is equipped to handle any emergency. If serious medical care is needed, Southwest General Hospital is right across the street. Very professional and caring. Would recommend to anybody. Pros: New, super clean, caring staff, activities, bright rooms. Cons: Some rooms are a long walk from entrance. more
