Parkside in Tulsa is the state funded facility for patients who pay based on their income level. They offer emergency hospitalization, inpatient and outpatient therapy, groups of all kinds, a 24 hour emergency number and more. They even offer psychiatric care based on your income, and will provide your medications for free if you can't afford them. I have known many people who have gone to Parkside, both inpatient and outpatient. I attended therapy there after the death of a friend, and the care I received was outstanding. They really care about their patients' needs, and treat you as a valuable person. Everyone, from the reception area, to the psychiatrist, is so very friendly. They make you feel comfortable instantly. It's not an easy thing to go somewhere for therapy, but they make it as comfortable and beneficial as possible. I would highly recommend them to anyone!
