Parkland Kennel

This is the worse place you want to take your pets to. The owner is the culprit here. The hired help is somewhat more pleasant. When I walked in the owner was by the front desk and I asked ""how did my dogs behave? just to start a conversation with the owner."" She promptly walked out and did not answer. The woman at the desk said ""Oh I don't think she knows which dog you are talking about."" Well, she did because she told the young man to bring my dogs to the front. This was my second experience with this kennel. The first time, I asked about my dogs again (2 pets) and the young woman at the desk said ""I don't know."" That's it. When I got my two dogs home they ran to their water bowl as if they had not had a drop of water for two days. They drank all the water in their water bowl. So, that's it. I gave them a second chance and no more!!! Dawn needs an attitude change in a bad way. more

Horrible Business and even more Horrible Owner ""Dawn"". My husband took my 1yr old Yorkie to them to be groomed this morning. They were instructed to cut off no more than 3/4 inch of her hair. When I picked her up they had completely shaved her! No more than 1/2 inch hair all over! As I investigated I ended up talking to the owner Dawn. She tells me my husband is a lier and he told them to cut her this way! That she's been in business since 2006 and has plenty of contacts in Fort Bend County and the shelters and she's didn't want our business. And to top it off she said ""it's no big deal IT'S JUST A DOG""! Inappropriate on so many levels!! First my husband doesn't lie and why would he about a hair cut! Second, JUST A DOG! That's how she makes $$ so that tells me she is alot more concerned about $$ than animals!! I wouldn't want that type of person left alone with my pets!! Third, I've lived in Fort Bend County since 1980 and my husband owns his own business too!! They never said sorry there was a mistake or anything just "" take your $ back and don't come back we've got plenty of business""!! So I thought I'd let people know my story so they could decide for themselves if this is the kind of place you want to take your pets to or the people you want to do business with!! Just be informed! more
