Parkhill Liquor & Wines

Parkhill is about $2 cheaper per bottle on wine, and about $1 cheaper a 6 pack on beer. Probably not worth driving out of your way if you're just picking up one bottle, but if you're buying for a wedding, party, etc... you can save quite a bit. One more thing I like... if you buy 12 items or more, they give you 10% off your entire purchase. So it pays to stock up! more

For years, I'd heard people tell me that Parkhill was the cheapest place to buy wine... but I never drove the 4 miles over there to see. OH MY GOSH!!! Seriously, everything is $1-$4 cheaper per bottle!!! Yellow Tail wine is $10.99 for a magnum ($13.98-$14.99 elsewhere). Even the beer is $1-$2 less per 6 pack! And they have a selection like no place else. It really is the size of a warehouse!!! I called about 15 stores looking for a special belgin beer (that was sweet like wine), they were the only ones in town that had it. Not that I was surprised once i saw the place... it's probalby 10 times bigger than your typical liquor store. So next time you're buying more than 1 item, it's worth the drive. I make it over there once a month an stock up... I figure I save $20 easily, well worth the gas money! more
