Parker Landing Child Devmnt

I found this daycare while driving by the summer of 2007. I did a test run and found that both myself and my son LOVED IT! (he was 2 at the time) So much better than Kindercare or some of the other big name daycare centers. My son was there for about 2 years before we moved out of the area and he started school He was happy as can be the whole time he was there. He came to love and be loved by all the teachers in the center, not even just the ones in charge of his classroom. I was more than happy with the prices charged and the flexibility of scheduling. My son still goes there when he is out of school (5 yrs old now) and STILL loves it! He wishes he could go there all the time. The teachers and directors remember him every time he comes, and even remember me when I just call on the phone. I recommend this daycare to all of my friends! My child attended Parker Landing for a few months. I was very unhappy with the evening ""teachers"" and their bookkeeping was very unorganized. The whole facility seemed to be very disorganized and their communication was horrible. When I tried to talk to someone about the bookkeeping mishaps, no one was ever available. I was told to come back during the day. I worked during the day, that is why I needed the daycare. We ended up just paying their false bills as to not cause any issues. The building where the older kids stayed smelled very bad also. It made me sick every time I picked up my child. We withdrew my child and I would not recommend this daycare to anyone I know. Pros: It's cheaper than some of the more expensive facilities. Cons: You get what you pay for! more

Our kids have been going to Parker Landing since my husband's oldest started in 1998. A teacher and director were called to the stand to testify more than once, thanks to my husband' ex-wife. They were very patient and never complained, as inconvenient as it was. We had the utmost trust in them with our children and still do. We're now on our third and last one there, and I have no doubt he will love it as much as the other two did. They go on fun field trips and they don't yell!! There are male as well as female influences, which I think is important. They also have some amazing holiday parties and a wonderful preschool ""graduation"" showing you all the things your children were learning while you were at work. Amazing job! more
