Dr Betts and Staff are Great!! 10/30/2012

When my 11mth old shih tzu mix, Jaxson became ill on a weekend, it was Dr Betts who was the emergency vet on call. Dr Betts was so easy to talk to and was very knowledgeable. I was so worried about Jaxson and she told us to call her anytime if we had any questions or concerns. Who does that anymore? Jaxson had to spend a night there and I felt very at ease with leaving him in her care. Her husband, Roger, who assisted Dr Betts was also very gentle and sweet with Jaxson. I cannot thank them enough for their prompt attention to Jaxson. He is doing great! Their prices are very reasonable too! I recommend Parkdale to everyone now! more

The Best! 10/3/2010

I love Parkdale Animal Hospital. I wonder if "Aldrich, Phd" is confused about what hospital they are reviewing. I took my cat to Parkdale and I thought it was to put her to sleep after 2 vets couldn't figure out what was wrong with her. Dr Betts was the only one who could figure it out now a year later I still have my precious kitty with me. Thanks Dr Betts! The staff is great. The place is fun and cute. Manistee is lucky to have a place like Parkdale! more

WARNING this vet is not a diagnostician nor capable of much more than rudimentary animal health care. I would highly suggest taking your pet to another vet for any serious or life threatening condition. I lost one animal in her care do to misdiagnosis of a straight forward and obvious condition. And lost a second animal due to her misdiagnosis of a serious life threatening condition. I would liken her incompetence to that of a brain surgeon who was unable to locate the brain. I write this because of my great love of animals and because of my concern for yours. more

The only vet I trust 5/7/2010

I would never take my pets to any vet except Parkdale Animal Hospital. The staff is so friendly and they are always happy to see us. Dr Betts found a tumor when I only went there for shots. She saved my dog's life! My dog loves it at Parkdale - her tail is wagging the whole time. \r \r One time I thought my dog was dying and had to call Dr Betts in the middle of the night. She met us at the hospital and even though it turned out to be a minor problem (thank God) Dr Betts made us feel like we did the right thing.\r \r I trust Parkdale Animal Hospital and would never go anywhere else. more
