I went for my 6 month check up and cleaning knowing I needed a tooth extracted. They said they would call me to set an appointment with the oral surgeon. I never got a call from them and ended up with a toothache, so called to see when I could get it pulled. The appt was made and I was told my co-pay for having a tooth extracted was $25. When I got there, it was $75. They said there was a $50. consultation fee, which I questioned, but paid. I asked why I had to pay a consultation fee since I had already been diagnosed and they said there is always a consultation fee. I checked my insurance when I got home, and the consultation fee was only $45. They say they'll credit it back to the card I used to pay, but won't tell me when they plan to process the refund. This is not the first time they have overcharged me.
