Park Village Mobile Home Park

This place is a HELL HOLE. Like Sherry K. saud, water is off every other day. The office staff seem to have no regard for the safety of their residents. Things get stolen and people try to break into other people trailers. Drug activity goes on and the empty lots have weeds knee high. \r \r They are quick to throw notices on your door. For every little thing. Also the owner owes the city like $6000 on the water bill that he is behind on. On top of the back property taxes he has never paid.\r \r The maintenance men drive around all day trying to ""look"" busy. But just watch people. So if you want to feel like you live in a prison then this is the place to live. \r \r There are 3 registered sex offenders (child sex offenders) that live in the park. And that is just what I have found. \r \r If you do move here then make sure you get any and all AGREEMENTS in writing. Otherwise they will screw you in the end. more

Live here if you like having water shut of every other day. Not able to take morning showers because they keep water off for hours at a time while ""fixing"" water lines. Sick of this hell hole its like living in a third world country. more

PLEASE check with other people before considering this place, if you HAVE to consider this place. yes it is low cost in the area, and NOT in the long run. Want something done>?? FORGET IT. There is no regular repairs. There is nothing done preventative. Complaints about illegal activity goes without recognition. more

Just moved a brand new mobile home in a few months back and then they decided to charge us for water illegally and upped the lot rent. Provide no maintenance to speak of. There empty lots are rarely mowed and weedeated but our lots get frequent notices if the grass is more than 2 inches tall. more

I checked online and it IS TRUE the owner owes $48,000 in 2009 Kansas State taxes LATE. more

The other reviews are right on the money. They haven't paid nearly $50,000 in back taxes, proof on the internet, raise the rent even when you have a lease, want to charge for water with no meters. Maintenance is NON EXISTANT> One poor guy to attempt to take care of the entire place and they run him ragges and no up keep is done. The rental office are worthless. We paid an 1800 dollar deposit and they only gave us back 200 of it. Why? Because of things we asked for maintanence for BEFORE WE EVEN MOVED and for things that weren't even broken! Not only that, but also for things that were there before we moved, like a paper border in one of the bathrooms. When we asked them to fix the problems they said it was fine and not to worry, but when we moved they charged us 400 bucks and never claimed half of our deposit! Park Village is VERY expensive for what you get. Maintenance is NON existant, if anything goes wrong forget it. The one and only maintenance man does work to prepare vacant, which there are many, for rerental. The rules are forgotten until they want to enforce something not even in the lease. Abandoned cars, loud music, teenagers walking around day and night, NO security, and NO responsability by the owners. Moved mobile home lots are left as is with NO cleanup. Lawn mowing is done with a riding mower in vacant areas and if they can't reach it it doesn't get mowed. There are much nicer more kept places everywhere all over Wichita and Andover.
