The staff at Park Towne is extremely friendly; however, the buildings themselves leave something to be desired. In the year that I lived there, something was always broken ... the air conditioning stopped working and leaked all over the carpet in the first month I was there, but that was only the start of it. By far the most disturbing incident was when one of the pipes in our ceiling broke, and every time our upstairs neighbor would use the water in their bathroom (including flushing the toilet!), the water would pour into our bathroom through our ceiling vent. The buildings also weren't well insulated, and water bugs were constantly finding their way in from outside. None of the apartments had washers or dryers, and the laundry rooms were generally dirty and only had two washers and one dryer per probably thirty families. Although Park Towne was not an absolutely horrible place to live, it's definitely somewhere I would never move back to.
