Even though management is in dire need of improvement, the property is quite nice. There are lots of trees and bushes and the apartments have small private yards. However, when the small street lamps burn out it takes weeks for the new manager to have them repaired. Some areas are so dark it is too frightening to walk at night.
She closed the community pool and the temperature is still in low 90's! The least she could have done was wait til after fall break. The kids would love to swim during their school break. She hates animals to the point of fining and even threatening with evictions to any resident (no matter how long they have been living here and paying rent on time) for giving a scrap of food to a stray cat! She claims that feeding stray cats will discourage them from chasing field mice coming into the property! Really? Anyone with half a brain knows that's a crock. Cat's are naturally curious and will chase anything that moves if given the chance. My new neighbor says his apartment is only $650 a month while mine (even though the same size) is $725 and I am a struggling teacher that has lived here for more than 2 years. The last manager was cordial, and enjoyed stepping out of the office and speaking with the residence. This Patty person won't even acknowledge my presence when I stop by the office to pay rent or pick up a package.
