They promised ""beautiful ocean views"", it was a lie, they took us on a dirt trail, bushes all over, saw the ocean for a few seconds & made us turn around THE SAME WAY WE CAME IN!!!! I could not believe it!!! On top of that, the ride was about 40 minutes, not an hour. SAVE YOYR MONEY & GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!! They are clearly ripping people off more

My daughter, step-daughter and I took a private guided trail ride at Park Place in Malibu and it was amazing. It's extraordinary to find a rental horse facility that has QUALITY horses and QUALITY, COMFORTABLE saddles! Our guide, Joy is extremely horse savvy, having trained World Champion Saddlehorses. My girls and I are very experienced horse riders, having also shown horses at the national level (though we never met Joy while we were showing, we certainly knew her beautiful showhorses). The stable uses Paso Fino (for more experienced riders) and sturdy, beautiful Norwegian Fyord ponies (for both experienced and less experienced riders). The horses are HEALTHY, happy and well cared for. The saddles are far superior to any I've experienced in US rental facilities. I believe the price is a little steeper than facilities outside of Malibu, but given the high overhead of maintaining a QUALITY operation in that area, I found the price very reasonable. The trails were gorgeous and Joy was extremely knowledgable about the surrounding area, the history and the foliage. We are DEFINITELY going back - myself to enjoy more trails, and my daughter to take hunter-jumper lessons. more

I had the pleasure of riding ""Buddy"" through the some of the most beautiful trails in Malibu! We had the most wonderful time on the very well trained and gentle horses. During our one and a half hour ride, while looking out over the gorgeous trails, we felt the sea breeze in our faces. I wish I lived close enough to go every week. The employees are super nice and take great care of the horses. I will definitely go back the first chance I get and highly recommend this stable to horse lovers everywhere. I recently went with three girlfriends on a ""girls day out""...wine tasting, lunch, and a nice horseback ride through the mountains. We chose Park Place Stable due to the great mountaintop location, and were not disappointed. The ride was surrounded by wildflowers and stunning views. We could see the ocean off in the distance. The horses were of great caliber and much nicer than what you would typically find on a horse rental ranch. \r \r Our guide, Chantal, was also great. She was helpful and instructive to those of us who needed guidance, but offered a more challenging ride for those of us who wanted an adventure! \r \r We were very happy with the experience and will definitely be back. more

Wow! This place is great. My husband and I picked up some food at Neptune's Net and then went on a trail ride at this place, right down the road. The views are gorgeous and overlook the ocean! The people really seem to know what they're doing and the horses are really cute. I don't know what kind of horses they are but they don't look like the typical horses you usually see. They had great temperaments and a lot of fun to ride. It was very romantic and my husband scored tons of points for finding this place. We definitely give it four thumbs up!! Excellent trail riding in Malibu! The trails are gorgeous, a little shaky, but the views! The ocean is AMAZING from up there! Their horses/ponies are adorable, and my daughter had an excellent time riding in the arena while I was on the trail with my husband. Amazing place to ride. Great ocean view the entire time we rode! Went with a few friends and couldn't believe how great this place is. I've been to other places that say they have an ocean views, but it's nothing like Park Place Stable. We could see the ocean from the moment we left.\r The horses are well kept, people super friendly and very professional. It didn't even smell like a barn!\r I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to ride. more
