Park and Orchard is a treasure in a strange little town. The cuisine includes beef, chicken, fish and pasta but the side dishes are where the interest is (at least for me). On my most recent visit, they did a great job with rice and squash. The mushrooms are good too. My side dishes came with Shrimp in Dijon sauce and the little sea creatures were crisp, fresh and cooked perfectly.
My lunch partner was equally blessed. She had a pasta and chicken sausage that was tasty, good and the portion was so big that it will serve as both lunch and dinner.
Service during a busy lunch time was a little slow but understandable given the crowd.
On my first visit a while back, we had a chance to sample a couple of bottles from their a huge wine cellar. The price for a Monrachet was a bargain and the wine was amazing and better than a similar bottle we had at the Gotham Bar and Grill in NYC. The wine steward was excellent - really knew his wine and the contents of their cellar.
If you want to experience a good restaurant with creative and flavorful dishes, try Park and Orchard.
