I've been a PNB customer since the lase 1980's. Why? The great customer service!
You can't validate a review of a place based on one interaction. The reviewer who posted the bad 1-star review will never know whether those tellers learned a co-worker had been in a wreck or died...you never know!
I base my review on hundreds of interactions I've had with various bank personnel over a 20-year period.
When my husband had an accident in the early 1990's, our checkbook got very messed up because it was such a chaotic time for us. We took our checkbook in and a rep sat down and reconciled everything for us. With the exception of one time when a teller was unfriendly and tried to pass off a question rather than take time to find out an answer, we've had excellent service.
We appreciate that the bank has strong local ties and is active in the community. We've always been very happy with PNB and both its in-person, on-phone and online banking.
