Once you get past the 50s decor and the cute menu titles you'll find there's no "there" there. My friend's $8 salad was a $2 salad-in-a-bag supermarket mix, while my beef platter...oh, my. Tough, commercial-grade, roast beef slices drowned in over-salted jarred brown wallpaper paste masquerading as gravy. I've had better school lunches - I wish I could say I was exaggerating. And the sandwiches aren't much better. This place does the same Apperts menu/food as 1000 other restaurants in this town...it just does it much, much worse.
