Leigh has been grooming my newfs for over 12 years my dogs love going to the shop and run in like they own the place. They do a great job with my big dogs and will groom my12 year old laying down as he can't stand for long. Prices are reasonable and the office remodel looks good! more

Great Groomer -- If you don't mind rude treatment 5/7/2012

I try not to post negative review about any establishment so here is the good, the bad and the suggestions: Lee works next door to my vet whom I love and she has not been because she does not do Saturdays and does not start before 10:00 a.m. Ruff if you are working 8-5. Plan on vacation days. She is a good groomer and definitely the best in the area. BUT remember, there isn't a big choice in Summit or Wasatch Counties. She did my sheltie and the job was as good as my groomer in Las Vegas and her prices were very reasonable. She does a beautiful job on HUGE dogs which seem to be her strength and seems to be the choice for Maltese owners. THE BAD: BAD, BAD attitude, rude and fails to understand, 3/4 of the job is how you treat pet parents. I left my job mid day after calling two days prior that there was a switch in my dogs coming, walked into the salon the same morning to confirm the switch was ok, drove a 45 mile round trip just to be told there was no way she could do the switch in dogs. What's left to do but take your dog into work with you (a lawfirm). She then made a snide remark about I have too many dogs to keep track of -- even though she has had a list of names and dogs since 9/2011. Won't be back. Petco may not be as good, but the pain in my rear end won't hurt as much either. Truly don't recommend if you work an 8-5 job or if you expect to be treated like a human being. Even one of her clients told me: she can be a bitch. She sure can. more

Stay Away!!! 3/20/2012

We just had a very poor experience with Park City Pet Grooming and its operator, Leigh Kracht. We brought in our two (2) St. Bernard's for a bath and a trim for the second time this winter. Leigh completely sheared off ALL of the hair from our St. Bernard's, when we just wanted a good trim like in our first visit. When we spoke to Leigh about this she was very apologetic for the mistake over the phone to me but abruptly ended our calm conversation and told me/us to come back and ""get your money"". She later called to apologize again for the mistake. I reported the incident and filed a complaint with Utah Better Business Bureau. It will take some months for our St. Bernard's hair to grow back. I strongly DO NOT recommend this business and its services to the public. more

Love the groom 1/25/2012

New customer 100% happy. The guy who gave my little man (aka my Pug) a bath was nice, totally into his job and super friendly. My dog is 9 years old and I have brought him to a groomer regularly for 9 years. This was the friendliest groomer so far. He took time to talk to me about my dog. I read the other reviews before we went so I went expecting the place to be dirty, but I still wanted wanted to check it out myself because it is one of the only groomers located close to town where we live. It ooked like 99% of the other grooming places. I have been to only one other groomer that had a perfectly clean office. But we don’t need granite counter tops and a fluffy environment, friendly engaged groomers that talk to you is the most important part. Hayden will be back soon. more

Clean and trustworthy 3/22/2011

I highly recommend Park City Pet Groomers. Lee truly cares about all the dogs she grooms and I only hear rave reviews about her around town. I am constantly asked who grooms my goldendoodle because she is a great length, smooth and shinny, no mats, and smells good for weeks, I'm not sure if the reviewer from 07 works for diggity dog, but I can't imagine driving 60 miles to save $10 when we have a fantastic groomer right in town. more

Great groomer 10/19/2010

The person above must have some type of foo foo show dog. I have been going to Park City grooming for over ten years. I have a large mountain dog with lots of hair. They get the hair out from the undercoat and it is great. No hair in the house. Plus the owner found a physical issue with our little dog and we ended up going straight to our vet which is right next door. Lea(the owner) absolutely loves dogs and treats them very well. I wouldn't go anywhere else. She is great with cats as well. more

High Quality with No Nonsense 2/24/2009

I have been bringing my high maintenance Old English Sheepdog to Park City Pet Grooming for several years now and have never been disappointed with the results. The owner is no-nonsense and works really efficiently and does a wonderful job. She doesn't miss any matts in his shaggy hair. He always smells so good. She is very knowledgeable about breeds and they way their hair should be cut. If you want a beautiful grooming establishment with lots of frills - this place is not for you. But the no-nonsense approach keeps costs down - the rates are very reasonable for a groom in Park City for certain! Plus - because she does work so efficiently - you don't have to book your groom months in advance. This is not a spa - it's a place to get your dog groomed! And it's been perfect for us. more

Great doggy treats but you could do better yourself... if you had the equipment. 5/23/2007

If you're in a hurry and don't sweat the small stuff (like smelly, dirty environment, stand-offish owner attitude, splintered nails) then you'll be fine with the result. The prices are reasonable and you probably won't have to schedule three weeks out for a groom appointment. But don't expect much. Your dog will feel clean to the touch and a little lighter in the paws but you definitely walk away feeling like more could have been done to pamper the pooch. I had a groom last year from Diggity Dog in Salt Lake City and loved them. It was $10 cheaper, they'll do anything you ask (like teeth clean or shave 'em) and the girls had warm, friendly personalities.. You could tell they love what they do. Try there first. Pros: Flexible appointment times, great homemade dog treats from Bark City Cons: smelly; only trims, no shave; weird vibe from owner more
