My family loves our dogs like they are our children. We consider them to be an important part of our family and as such, we look for professionals that would give them the same standard of care that we would expect for our children. Dr. West has been our vet for 8 years (and four dogs) now and she is, without a doubt, one of the best vets around. She is compassionate and cares about the well-being of our dogs, both physical and emotional. What's more, she understands the emotional impact that a pet's illness or injury has on the family. Her knowledge, professionalism, and caring have helped us through some tough times, particularly as one of our beloved dogs fought and ultimately lost her battle with cancer. Park City is lucky to have a vet like Dr. West!! more

If your pet is a very important member of your family, I would suggest thinking twice about bringing your family member here. I brought my dog in very concerned, she was shaking, throwing up and very weak. Dr. Angela West diagnosed her as having a possible sore back. Fortunately I got a second opinion with another vet. my dog was experiencing severe dehydration due to an Addisons Disease crisis. When I took my dog to another vet, she was immediately hospitalized for several days, I was told that if I would have just trusted Dr. Angela West's diagnosis, my 2 year old puppy could have died within days! NEED I SAY MORE? I left several messages to have Angela West call me. The impolite front office manager told me that Dr. Angela West would not return my calls. It is unclear if Dr. West was given my messages. more

Dr. Prior and staff are amazing. They are unbelievably caring and understanding while offering the highest level of care. Dr. Prior is available for emergencies, unlike most vets. That is actually how we found him-our old vet of many years and thousands and thousands of dollars could not be bothered when we had an emergency, even though he was in the office-Dr. Prior came in after hours just to see our dog when we were not even his clients-he did the same for some friends-we now all have switched to his office. Dr. Prior was also able to correctly diagnose our puppy?s problem-over 10 visits to another vet and 3 or 4 to a specialist left us with ?it must be emotional problems? when in fact he had a VERY serious condition. \r I am thrilled with Dr. Prior's obvious deep concern for the animals-but also with his knowledge and skill. His staff is just as caring-I cannot recommend Dr. Prior enough. It is no wonder people drive up from Salt Lake for this very special vet!\r Pros: caring-very skilled-convienent location more

Dr. Prior is a true professional but at the same time understands your pet is your best friend. He empathizes with your concerns and helps to make whatever needs to be done, less painful. Great guy! Prices are very fair especially by Park City standards more
