The 5 hour class (well, it was 4 hours) was interesting but that was the best thing about this place. I paid for a full package (definitely overpriced even for nyc) but only got to use 3 hours. The first hour, a guy called Eric talked about his screenplay for 45 minutes (out of a one hour lesson), swore at other new york drivers and never once told me anything about mirrors, signalling, parking etc. The second guy, Jude, was terrific, very patient and gave excellent instructions. John, however, was impatient and practically yelled at me because I wasn't at the competancy level he was told I was (it was my 3rd lesson!). Out of a 2 hour lesson, I only drove for one because he wanted to get home rather than let me practice my driving. So I called up to say I wanted a free hour because of Eric and John; not only did the woman never once apologize, she also yelled at me because I, "like millions of others" (her words), dared to complain about her business. Instead of giving me the $45 hour lesson, she chose to refund me the $300+ that was left of my package. This place hires the most inexperienced, rude and downright dangerous drivers and *nothing* on the website (personal instructors for your needs, relaxing environment etc.) is true. Like the owner said, many others have complained to her too and she's sick of it....so are we!
