While the concept is brilliant, foods from around the world on the same latitude as San Diego, the execution falls short. We started our meal with the Asian Duck Confit salad with grapefruit, jicama and candied pecans. I know duck is best rare, but this was dangerously undercooked and the fat from the duck coated the vegetables rendering them a soggy mess. The curried calamari wasn't bad although the server neglected to bring out the mango salsa mentioned on the menu. For an entree I had the pan seared halibut and cous cous. It wasn't bad mind you, but the fish was really underseasoned. for thirty bucks a plate, i'd expect a little more.
