Paradise Pool Builders

I wish I had read all of the negative reviews on this company before hiring them. The salesman sold us on a more expensive fiberglass pool because he claimed it takes 2 weeks, start to finish. So we decided that paying for the more expensive pool made sense as the yard would be put back together quickly and more convenient. Well, they installed in incorrectly, it was completely uneven in the hole. Then they didn't come back for 4 weeks, no phone call, nothing. It rained and rained, so when my husband told them to get there to fix it, they charged us to pump out the rain water that had built up in the hole due to them disappearing for 4 weeks. Finally, they corrected everything and finished about 4 months later. A far cry from the couple of weeks we were sold on. I paid in full and 9 months later get a $600 bill in the mail with absolutely no explanation of what it was for. I asked Joanne at the office and she gave me some excuse that didn't make any sense as I paid in full, in addition to a $1400 pump out that was his fault. I was paid in full. 30 days later he put a judgment on me for the $600. This company has proven themselves unethical and unprofessional. They do not deserve to be in business. I'm sure it won't be long before they fold under. more

Pardise Pools is all about getting your money !!!!! We have a gas leak in our heater that Paradise installed. We notified them at the end of the season last year when we smelled gas and they said they would send someone down when they were closing our poo to fix the gas leak, no one .showed up. We were then told to make sure that we reminded Paradise to send someone down the day they were to open our pool the following season. We againg did that and Paradise assured us that someone would be there,again they lied to us because no one showed up to fix our gas leak .Multiple calls were made to the Company~Tom Gomes never once has called us back after we left messages for him to do so. Joanne, the woman in his office constantly makes up excuses and lies for him. We still have the gas leak that Paradise Pools and its owner Tom Gomes could care less about us and are now calling the gas company , getting a lawyer and seeing Paradise Pools and Tom Gomes in court-----I SEE NO PARADISE HERE!!!!!!!l more

Worst pool company in New Jersey. After 4 months of law suits, Paradise Pool Builders conceded today and agreed to pay for damages to my property and for putting in smaller pool than the one I had paid for.\r There are also Criminal charges pending against Paradise Pool Builders owner, Tom Gomes, stemming from his dealings with the sale and installation of my pool.\r Do yourself a favor and dig the pool yourself by hand before you contact Paradise Pool Builders.\r Feel free to contact me for pictures and descriptions of my dealings with Paradise Pool Builders.
