Paradise Builders

First of all, we are EXTREMELY happy with the quality of the work that Paradise Builders did, as well as with the quality of the materials used. We've received a lot of compliments from our neighbors on how nice it looks. The workers were extremely polite. They cleaned everything up and worked really hard. Mike was the person we worked with directly. He would always call me back right away and continuously check how things were going. We had first called Paradise because we thought we had hail damage to our house. When Mike came over and looked to confirm we did have damage, he was willing to go the extra mile. When the insurance person came over, Mike walked around the house with him. He completely helped me with the insurance portion of the project. I really credit Mike for the fact it went so smoothly. We had to get the job done in a very short amount of time, and Mike was willing to do that. He came over to drop off actual pieces of siding so we could see them and the color options. more

Paradise Builders replaced the siding on my home and put new full glass screen doors on the front and back; they did new stoops with composite decking over my old stoops and railings down the front and back; and they put in a large garage door as well as a side door and a new window and gutters on the garage. Everything turned out really nice. I've been getting a lot of compliments! The workers were really good. The only thing I would say is that when they were taking off the old stuff and had a lot of the old wood and tiles out there it took a while for that to be taken away. So my only thing would be for that to be taken away faster because I have dogs and they had to be boarded longer since the wood left in my yard had nails in it. Mike, who came out to see our house and was the first person who talked with us, was very, very helpful. When you called he got right back to you, if you had a problem he fixed it, and if you wanted to change the order he helped you with that also. He was very helpful with the whole process from beginning to end. more

The work that Paradise Builders did on the house was good. The guys who put the siding up were great. The siding looks wonderful. There were a few communication problems with scheduling and ordering the projects. I absolutely love the siding and the way it looks. The only reason I didn't go full fives was that the project took longer than it should have. more

Paradise Builders did a new roof for us. I couldn't communicate too well with them during the project because the workers didn't speak much english but they were hard workers and did a very good job. Normally I like to feel I can communicate with at least one person on the job but they did a good job regardless. They were able to stick to time and cost estimates--it took about one day and an extra two hours the next day to complete the roof. more

Paradise Builders redid the bathroom for us and first off, their workman were prompt which was important. They were also courteous and did a really good job. They stuck to the estimate and the contractor communicated with us through the process. Great experience more

Paradise Builders is a great company. The work was excellent, no mistakes were made and they worked with the changes we made. They worked on the construction of a new house for us and it is looking great now. more

All I can say is good things. They're very clean, they clean up after themselves. They're on time, when they say they're doing to do something they're there and they do it very well. They're very polite and mannerly. They ask how things are going, and if there's anything else you need. They could not be any better. We've used them for multiple jobs and recommended them to our son, who was also very happy with their work. more

I have recommended Paradise Builders since they put our roof on. They were very knowledgeable. They came in with a good-sized group, and in two days, they did the whole job. They recommended I go with a bigger gutter to avoid ice problems in the winter, so I went with that, and it worked perfectly last winter. They installed winter strips around everything, and they even replaced the cover on one of the roof vents. I was concerned with chimney leakage, so they redid that with a new kind of wraparound shingles, which worked out perfectly. Everything came out perfect. T.J. Ellenson more

Paradise Builders built a house for us. The process was very smooth. Keith, the owner, did a great job keeping things coordinated. They were extremely responsive, and very, very good to deal with. Everything looks good. They strike me as a very honest and reputable company, and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. more

Paradise Builders has done a lot of work in our house. A few years ago they replaced windows, siding, and the roof. We recently called them back to have a bathroom remodeled to accommodate my mother. As with any building project, some problems did arise but it was not their fault. People who we ordered stuff from did not get it in on time. Still, they were great at dealing with the problems as they arose. They're fair priced and very experienced. I am 100 satisfied with them and I would not hesitate to call them back again with any home repair or building project. more

I think it was their professionalism. They weren't the cheapest to do the work I wanted, but they were quite clear about the products, timing, and what would happen. They set my expectations and met them all. I had them do a complete makeover of the exterior of a home, and it came out excellent. I am extremely happy. more

Paradise Builders removed a double door system we had in our home. They also removed all of our old 9-foot bay windows and installed new box windows. The work turned out excellent. They do quality work. I felt comfortable and confident in leaving the workers to do their job without checking up on them. They are a company that functions on integrity and customer service. more

We did a complete kitchen remodel with Paradise Builders. It involved taking down a load bearing wall and a half-wall, which didn't run a full floor to ceiling. We ended up with a really great room. It was an open concept kitchen. They cleaned up after themselves and arrived on time when we got to communicating. There was one little snafu from a subcontractor, a drywaller, when he made a right hand corner that was not square. When it was discovered, they wanted us to take and send pictures of it, but I'm a tech dummy and didn't have the time to do it. The painter was coming, and that was our big concern, so we had the drywaller come back out, but he just said it could be covered. When the painter came, Mark, the foreman, saw the drywall and called back a different drywaller from the same place, who did the work to fix it at their expense. There wasn't even a delay that held anyone else up. The electrician was also really good and made really good suggestions. Paradise Builders said the work would be done in six weeks, and it was done in six weeks. The work was done by Halloween, and I joked to them that if it wasn't done by Thanksgiving, I'd bring my family of 12 or so people to eat with them at their house. We literally just picked them out of the blue at the 2011 NARI show. We took a pig in a poke. It was between Paradise Builders and another remodeling company out here in Oconomowoc that we had worked with locally. I liked Paradise's design better. It was very open, they made a few changes at our suggestion, and they were just easy to work with. I felt like Keith always listened to our budget needs and was willing to design around a limited budget. We got to a point where he said to just pick what we want and he'd work backwards with price. For example, I really like cherry cabinets, but we couldn't afford them, so we went to cherry stained maple instead. Keith called the company, and they said we could order those, but when he put in the order they didn't do them anymore. Still, they said they would honor their word, and they gave us cherry wood at a maple price. I couldn't imagine what the kitchen design would look like beforehand, but now I love it. They really sold us on it. I'm so happy with it. I can stand at the island stove and see my family and the TV. I'm part of everything now. And throughout, there were only two weeks where I was without access to the sink. They really worked around that problem, because I have grandchildren in and out. They also worked around our baby grand piano as well, which was a challenge with the hardwood. I'm very, very satisfied. more

We remodeled our bathroom and practically gutted the place and Paradise Builders did a clean job, a very very nice job, and there wasn't anything that disappointed us. They did the work on a timely base. This was our first remodeling project with them, but they have also redone our staircase and crown molding in the past and we keep going back to Paradise Builders because they are so great. more

We had a rec room done by Paradise Builders, they put on our roof and gutters last year and replaced some windows. We can trust they will come and get the work done and so we continue using them. They do good work and we trust the quality of it! more

Keith is a friend of ours and we used him for an entire remodel. He did a fantastic job on our house and we were incredibly happy with the finished project. I would highly recommend them-5 stars. more
