DO NOT GO TO P. RED'S BBQ IN ATLANTA!!! I got a certificate for them on HalfOffDepot. The expiration date is 12/1/11. I went in to redeem it today and was told that it expired at 12:01am today so I was too late and could not use it. I have driven there 2 times now (15 mils from my house). The fist time we could not get a hold of them b.c they do not have an answering machine that said that they are closed during holiday hours. I was appalled to leave empty handed. It's a VERY small business and the owner was super rude and would not honor the certificate!!! I LOVE small businesses because most of the time you get much better service. I will NEVER step my foot in to that store again!!! more

Best BBQ in Atlanta 2/9/2003

This place is by far the best and most authentic bbq place you'll find in 100 miles of Atlanta. Its a hole in the wall restaurant with stuffed animals on the walls and a cafeteria-style line, and the best food and bbq sides you can find. So take the drive out a couple miles into Alpharetta and try it - you'll be hooked. Cheap, real southern bbq. I go here ALL the time. Pappy Red's is authentic! The best brunswick stew that I have ever had. It has a genuine smoky flavor. The barbecue pork is great, too. And, the atmosphere is just what it should be! Pros: Quality, Fair prices Cons: Too far from town more

Its worth drive - 10X over! 6/25/2002

The Atmosphere, The BBQ, The Sides, The deserts, The Brunswick stew, you cannot go wrong. My family and I head up at least one Sunday every month. Its fantastic and I never leave without a quart of Brunswick stew to go. I highly, highly recommend Pappy Reds!
