You can't come to Houston and not eat at one of the Pappas restaurants. Of the ones I've sampled, Pappasito's is my favorite. You barely sit down before fresh chips and salsa find their way to your table. You can't go wrong with any menu item, but I personally love the fajitas. Wash it all down with a classic or "golden" margarita. If you're not stuffed, try the fried ice cream. Service is always friendly, but does tend to move fast. Don't think that you'll have a long, leisurely meal. Pappasito's has a lively atmosphere, and if you're lucky you can catch a glimpse of Houston Astro Craig Biggio. Apparently, it's a favorite of his, too!
