Best

Excellent in everything the food, the atmosphere, the service. The coconut shrimp were the best i've ever had; only the sauce was different, not the ususal coconut creame sausce ...

Worst

Overpriced and poor quality. Hard to understand the good ratings?

I agree Fondue is excellent 12/2/2005

As a true Creole for South Louisiana I would give the Fondue at Pappadeaux a 10. Fried Seafood is great to. The more traditional Creole dishes are less Louisiana but here in Atlanta this is the closest one would get to Creole/Cajun cooking. more

Great Fondue 11/9/2005

If you go on Friday or Saturday night expect to wait an average of an hour. And no, they don't take reservations. If you don't feel like waiting then go before 6pm. As for the food, try the fondue. It's the best I've had. The appetizers are actually better than the entrees. Either way you'll leave full. Pros: friendly staff, good food, good drink selection Cons: crowded, long wait time more

Good Cajun for a Chain Type Restaurant 8/16/2004

A bit Hollywood in atmosphere, the food is very good. Tuna was tasty, but not sashimi grade, as they had advised. All in all a good spot for afordable flavorful seafood. Pros: Food, Service more

Generic 8/13/2003

I've long since determined that, in order to get real cajun cooking, I need to get a little closer to Louisiana than Atlanta. The food here is very generic. If you enjoy fried food, then you will be fine. more

AUTHETIC NEW ORLEANS FARE! 2/11/2003

PappaDeaux is the absolute best-- this coming from a girl from Louisiana. The closest thing to authentic Cajun fare since my Grandmother's house! This is great for romantic dinners or large groups... PappaDeaux is always good place to be! Pros: Pepper Shrimp!, The Desserts, Good, promt service Cons: The Wait! more

Love Pappadeaux!!! 11/22/2002

I definately love Pappadeaux! The Alligator Tails are the best! The food is delicious! I would recommend couples! more

spice of life 10/7/2002

the platters are very generous. The food is spicy enough to give a bite, variety of drinks are offered. Pros: good locations, great food Cons: wait more

seafood heaven 7/23/2002

All I have to say is CRAB CAKES! If you taste them you'll understand! Pros: Crab Cakes, quality Cons: portion, price more

Disappointing 7/10/2002

Overpriced and poor quality. Hard to understand the good ratings? more

A real taste of the big easy! 6/6/2002

Fabulous drinks, great appetizers and entrees such as crawfish and a variety of seafood, some not so common but all delivered plentiful and delicious. Pros: value, drinks, variety Cons: parking more

Not Worth The Money and Wait 5/23/2002

Extremely expensive, the food and drinks are not great. I would rather go to the Atlanta Fish Market, much better choice. I do not understand what the hype is all about. Pros: free parking, large restaurant Cons: expensive, weak drinks, bad food more
