My wife and I have dined at Pannullo's many times via the Entertainment book two-for-one program. Her favorite has always been Chicken Franco, with sherry wine, onions, mushrooms & artichoke hearts. She always orders the dish without the last two items and has always found it delicious. However, this time she took one taste and immediately disliked it. She normally wouldn't complain about such a thing, but she told the waiter that something was wrong with the dish. The waiter suggested that it was due to her alteration of the recipe, but he would go to the kitchen and check. He brought it back and asked her to try again. She still didn't like it, so I asked if she could order something else, to which the waiter replied that they couldn't take back any dishes with substitutions. I sampled it and found it to taste like diluted vinegar. At this point the owner comes by and asks if she liked it, but she still insists that the sauce is not the same (it used to be red, but now it's not. Why is that?). Could the wine be bad? He moves off the subject. ""Sorry you didn't like it. How about a canoli?"" She says no thanks and he walks off, satisfied. The check comes and both meals are on the bill. The owner returns again and my wife says, ""I've always recommended this place to people but not after this."" Now he gets angry, WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE. YOU'VE GOT THE ENTERTAINMENT CARD. YOU'RE NOT GOING TO PAY FOR IT(bear in mind, she didn't eat). She says, ""The difference is you're yelling at me."" He gets up. I DONT HAVE TO LISTEN TO THIS. I've been in business 14 years and I'll be here 14 more. SO GO TELL EVERYONE WHAT A J*RK I AM. So here I am to tell you, even if you like their food (as we have), the owner is a rude and inconsiderate j*rk. Entertainment members especially are looked down upon. Take your business elsewhere. Don't give this bum your money.
Pros: Food is usually satisfactory
Cons: Owner needs anger management therapy.
