I have used Pann Home Services on several occassions. Each time the work was performed by highly qualified service people, done in a timely mannor and completed for the amount quoted or less. The office staff has always been more than helpfull answering any questions and returning a call when needed. I am very confident in giving a friend or co-worker the name and number of Pann Home Services when they are looking to have work done. more

Very satisfied. 11/3/2009

We started using Pann Home Services because they responded in a satisfactory way, compared to the non-responsiveness of other people. They have done a variety of work for us, from plumbing to electrical to HVAC, and everything has turned out well so far. They listened to my husband, who enumerated the many different things that he wanted done. I also appreciate that they request feedback from the customer. Professional, well-trained staff. 10/5/2009

I have been very satisfied with Pann Home Services. They have done quite a bit of work for me over the last 5 years, from plumbing to electrical to carpentry. I initially started using them because I was not satisfied with my contractor. Unlike a lot of contractors, Pann Home Services' technicians show up when they promise, which is very important. I initially started using Pann Home Services because of the variety of different services that they offer. Having all of those home services available in just one phone call made a big difference for me. I have used them multiple times, for everything from painting to work on my air conditioning. Pann Home Services has done plumbing and electrical work for me. They have been very accommodating and I appreciate their flexibility in working with my schedule time-wise. They are thorough, quick, and neat. They always clean up afterward and make sure that they put booties on to come into the house if the weather outside is bad. I highly recommend Pann Home Services. They are a very reliable company to work with. more

Great Job, Great Experience 9/14/2009

Pann Home Services did a terrific job for us. We had some water damage caused by our condo neighbors and Pann came out and fixed everything. We had damage both to our kitchen ceiling and hardwood flooring. The patch job was flawless, painting impeccable and the floors look like a brand new house. We couldn't be happier and would use them again in a heartbeat. more

Excellent Service 9/5/2009

I started with Pann Home Services when my home water heater was not working. I met with Mike S. and his apprentice technician. I was very impressed with their professionalism and thoroughness. They took the time to explain what they were checking and why, and to show me the issues they found, and explain why, in terms that were easy to understand. From the call before they arrived letting me know they were soon to arrive, their putting on shoe covers just before they entered my home, to the handshake they each extended as they left, it was easy to tell that these men cared about what they were doing. Before they'd arrived, I wasn't expecting to make a commitment to your monthly plan until I shopped around a bit more. Before the time they were done, I knew I didn't need to shop around any more, and was happy to enroll in your monthly protection plan. I look forward to being a satisfied client for years to come. I've subsequently had Pann Home Services perform additional work at my home, and the quality of work is excellent. They provide premium service. I have compared pricing for some of the services they provide. Even on their monthly plan, the prices are a bit higher than I expected, however, but the peace of mind received by having Pann staff at the ready has made it worth the premium paid. more

Absolutely delightful to work with. 9/2/2009

I have been so happy to have Pann Home Services. All of the individual workers are great, always pleasant to talk to and nice to have around. We have used them for a variety of projects and maintenance work because, when we moved into the house, it was in relatively bad shape. They have repaired 2 water breaks, re-plastered 2 entire ceilings, and installed a new heating system. They are clean and meticulous. They leave the house cleaner than it was when they found it. In the nearly 10 years that we have been using them, I have never found fault with any of workers. You do not need to worry about a thing if you have them on the job. Carl Krumpe more

We have been using Pann Home Services for many years. They are very professional on all levels and good at whatever you need, from heating services to painting to woodworking. They understand the technology behind things like the brand-new heating system that they installed for us. They were able to explain everything to us and tell us what the alternatives were so that we understood all of our options. I appreciate that they give us repair updates to let us know where a project stands. Because of the size of their team, they can keep things moving so that the work gets done in a timely manner. They also are respectful of the fact that they are coming into your home. They leave everything as clean as possible, even if they are coming back the next day to finish something. Quality work. Reliable and responsive, always follow up. 9/1/2009

What attracted us to Pann Home Services was that they do everything, from carpentry to plumbing to electrical work. We started using them because we found that it was too difficult to get individual technicians to call back or come out immediately. With Pann, they respond right away. You do not have to wait 5 days. They have helped us through a couple of emergencies: When our top deck door imploded, they came the same morning it happened and fixed it. In 10 years or so, I have never had a bad experience with them. In fact, they are the only people I use now because they do excellent work. We have had them do a ton of things for us, from siding on our house to multiple electrical projects to carpentry. This summer, we had a major amount of work done, including a new front door. The work they do is always first-rate. They do not leave a job half-done and they always back up the work they do if there is an issue. For example, when we had a toilet problem, they came right back to fix it for no charge. They also are wonderful people you can trust, the kind of people you do not mind giving a key to your house. We would recommend Pann Home Services because they respond right away and do a quality job -- those things are very important to us. I always tell them: You are keeping our house glued together. more

Outstanding, first-rate company. 8/31/2009

I first started using Pann Home Services several years ago when I had to have some electrical work done. I saw their large ad in the Yellow Pages and noticed that they were a family business in Cambridge. Given their longevity, I thought that they must be a good company, and they were. I have used them 6 or 7 times now for everything from painting to installing a water heater to carpentry. They are a nice group of guys to work with and they will immediately correct any glitch without charge or dispute. I also have recommended Pann Home Services to many other people. They are an outstanding, first-rate company. more

Overpriced, Dishonest. 4/21/2008

I had my furnace repaired by them last year and it was never completed, it still had a loud noise from the fan. This year the furnace broke and they sent someone out to take a look at it and he left it in pieces on the floor and told me I needed a new furnace and that they could price that out for me tomorrow. They came the next day and gave me a estimate of $5800. I had no heat for a week until another company came by, told me to save myself some money and get the fan rebuilt myself. I brought it to the suggested place and was charged 350 to rebuild the fan. When I went to pick up the fan I was told that whoever repaired the furnace last is the reason that it was broken now (I have the parts to prove it!!!) I put the furnace back together myself and it has run perfectly. They left this in pieces so that I would feel like I had no other choice but to replace the furnace and give them almost 6 thousand dollars. Awful business practices, did not supply me with temporary heat like they were supposed to, and pretty much just tried to screw me over. Glad I am not a old woman or a person who is afraid to get their hands dirty or I would be out 6000. DO NOT USE PANN HOME SERVICES! Pros: They Have Emergency Help more

On time and professional, but not recommended 8/17/2007

They over charge with unreasonable service charges. This is in addition to what they charge to for the work they will do. \r They don't tell you of the suprise charges either. Pros: on time Cons: Too expensive if you add ALL the pre charges more
