Panera has a good selection for lunch, however, the quality of their frozen breads and bagels is less that of their local competitors. Panera's has become just like every other franchise with shipped in frozen or par baked (half-baked) products (i.e. Bruegger's Bagels). They claim ""baked fresh daily"" but so can Bruegger's. Once you have tried a local made from scratch bread or bagel you will avoid going back.
