I had a night with friends staying home and watching a movie when we decided to order Chinese food. We ordered 3 dinner meals. We waited an hour and twenty minutes until it was delivered. The delivery driver didn't knock or ring the doorbell; he just turned the handle and walked in!! It scared us all. Then we only got 2 of the 3 meals we ordered. When I called and complained, the woman on the other end handed the phone to another woman (possibly a manager) who spoke better English. She apologized and stated if i wanted to make another order for the third meal she could give me a discount. I stated that I'd be more than willing to pay full price if they could just have it delivered in 20 minutes. I live 20 blocks away from the restaurant and this call was placed at 8:45pm, it would only take 10 minutes for delivery. The woman stated she didn't have control of the drivers and that she could guarantee a 45-1hr delivery time but not 20 minutes. I mentioned that its a business and they should have control of their staff. I then told her that if it took more than 20 minutes, I couldn't guarantee I?d pay them. I was not going to wait two and a half hours after my first initial phone call to eat dinner. Very poor customer service and I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN and should suggest the same to everyone. more

I wasn't overly impressed with my food. The waitress was very nice, but it is small and crowded. I would recommend it to others, since my husband thought it was good. more

I travel through Anchorage quite often and never miss a chance for take out from this place. My wife was born here and can't stand the fact that I get to enjoy this place so often while she can only visit once or twice a year. Great service, wonderful food and reasonable prices. more

We eat out every weekend. This is the only Chinese restaurant we eat at since the Bear Paw in Eagle River changed ownership. They should put more tofu in the hot and sour soup and they should let you know how large their portions are. I meal can feed 2 people. Don't even think about getting soup an entree and egg roll you can't eat it all Pros: Excellent Cons: not enough tofu in hot and sour soup more

Would never eat there because of food handling practices. Seen them putting there chicken raw cut up in cardboard box on the floor where everyone was stepping over it. more

The Panda Restaurant is the best place to get Chinese food in Anchorage. I go there about once a week and love it every time. You don't get a small amount of food when you go there, when I go I get an amount food to have a small take-home box of food. The staff is very friendly and the food is normally priced. They have been recognised in the Anchorage Press as the top Chinese food in Anchorage. They were also recognised in USA Today as a top ten Chinese food place.All and all this is stop that you won't want to miss. I would recommend the Mongolian Beef and steamed rice (My Favorite). PROS: Great food, good pricing, wonderful service CONS: None more

Food served is well prepared, and in large good portions. Service was friendly, open late for the ""later crowd"". Recommend sit down, rather than take-out. Pros: Large Portions, Open late Cons: Parking is small lot more

this restaurant i would have to say is the best out of any chinese restaurant in Anchorage Ak everytime someone ask me where to eat i tell them pandas i wont eat at any other chinese restaurnt in town they should have a Gold medal for the food they make it is wonderful the serving ar so big you get your money's worth and the service is good all i can say about this store is ummmmmmm ummmm good!!!! more
