What a great experience. From the booking with Chris, to the actual dives and help from all the staff. Dive Master Matt was a pleasure and a great help in getting me started with spear fishing. Captain Dave was helpful and gave a STRONG lesson in the do's and don'ts of spear fishing. I live in Tampa, but went here to learn because of it's solid reputation. Very professional and emphasizes safe diving. If you want to learn how to dive, this is the place. On our last two trips to Panama City my wife and I have used PCDC. We have been out diving with them and have bought gear and rented equipment from them as well. I can confidently rate these guys 5 stars with no hesitation. We have dealt personally with 5 different PCDC guys and every single one of them is top notch. On our last trip this past weekend we were diving the jetties at St Andrews for the first time. The guys at the shop briefed us on what to expect and even pulled it up on google maps and showed us where to park, where to don our gear, everything! We felt like we had already been there when we arrived. I can honestly say when we walk into their shop it's like being in the friendly atmosphere of our home dive shop. We have been in other shops in the area but the atmosphere at PCDC is totally different. You're made to feel as though you are welcome and appreciated. We've definitely found our shop away from home! I was in Panama City Beach diving with the Atlanta Aquanauts for our annual fundraiser for the SUDS (Soldiers Undertaking Disabled Scuba) program from Sept 18-20th. Captain Pat and his crew (Tommy) are wonderful! The boat was very comfortable to dive out of, with an area up top where we could watch dolphins jumping and feel the fresh ocean breeze on our faces. Captain Pat is open to dive site suggestions and makes sure his divers are safe and have an enjoyable experience. I plan to dive with Captain Pat again soon! more
