Pampered Pets

My boyfriend bought a puppy here a few years ago. He had skin problems almost from the time they brought him home. He lived only a short time. Maybe five years, before his hip dysplasia became so complicated and untreatable that the vet recommended that they put him to sleep. The staff also lied about his breed, saying that he was a pure bred australian blue heeler. Not for one second did he ever look like a pure bred anything. Since then, my boyfriend's family has only chosen to rescue from shelters. And we all know that the breeders that Pampered Pets uses have them in cages like they're livestock. It's unethical. Not hobby breeders. Puppy factories. Pros: Absolutely nothing. Cons: Sick puppies more

We bought a puppy from this store last February. We were told our dog had an AKC paper and we were given a discount to take the puppy as is. We never did get the paper as promised. Our dog got sick after his first birthday in November, 2009. He died two months later for a genetic cancer. We did not even have him for one year yet. We were all heart broken. We just bought a dog for Christmas...they are holding the puppy until Christmas Eve for me. I spoke with owner about an unregistered cocker....She was very honest and helpful. I also worked with Heather that was able to guide me through the items I products I needed and why I needed them...she did not try to get me to buy unneeded items...I also price shopped PET CO and PETSMART BOTH where more expensive than Pampered Pets on EVERY ITEM I compared! I purchased a five month old puppy for my parents after the death of their 11 year old Scottie. The puppy was a blessing, a gift from God, however the work ethic of the store owner is to be questioned. I specifically asked about her papers, was told there were none, I asked if she was a full breed and was told yes! I asked why no papers then, I was told if I was not going to breed her, then they were not necessary. Well, the groomer right off could tell she was NOT a full breed. Our precious Scottie, is part Schnauzer. The store owner is not an honest business lady nor does she keep her dogs clean. We love our little ""Sassy"" it's not her fault, but honesty means a lot to my family. I would love to see these dogs get homes, just be careful in your dealings with her and what you are paying for.
