We have found Shea to be a very nice, accommodating groomer. Although I've had other dogs in the past where we left behind for grooming to pick up when done, I was apprehensive with my two small yorkies, which are sensitive and squirmy. Shea has been accommodating with me by allowing me to bring them in the same time to stay with them and help hold and calm them. She was kind enough to fit us in before the holiday as well. I have a special needs dog who is crippled to the point he can only roll over but is still very full of life. I was hesitant to leave him at a kennel as he requires alot of extra work.He is 80 lbs & needs to be picked up & put on a pee pad to pee & poop , is on medication & cant even get to his water bowl.\r When I went to pick him up all the staff members told me how much fun they had with him ( he can still catch a ball thrown to him , wrestle with a tug & play with his squeeky ball ) & how cool he was . He had gotten more attention in the week he had been there than I ever would have had time for at home ! I went home & told my boyfriend he had just come from dog disney land he had had so much fun !\r I later found out besides regular excercise & play time if the staff is slow they are encouraged to go play with the dogs & they love that time as much as the dogs do!\r I would recomend Pampered pet for guilt free dog dog boarding as they will have as much fun on your vacation a more

I am a local to Key West and every so often I like to travel and get out of the keys... WIth that in mind I own a pitbull and not too many counties allow them to be in a certain area. I always drop off my dog off at Pampered Pet. I have been going there for years due to the great customer service and the acknowledgement that they love my dog enormously!!! Jen is always so friendly and the staff as well. Not to mention the exhaustion that my dog shows when he comes home due to all the exercising he gets while he is there.. I want to thank you for being such a great place to take my dog!!!! more

While a little hestant to board our dog here because of other reviews, we found the staff to be great pet lovers and the kennels were clean and odor free upon our inspection. We left our dog there two nights, but took him with us during the intervening day. He was in great shape when we picked him up at 9am and did not hesitate to return to the kennel that evening. We were very pleased with the staff and service. more

We left our dog with Pampered Pets for two nights and were very pleased with their service. We pick our dog up after the first night and took him sightseeing for the day. He was clean and happy to see us. More importantly he was very willing to go back that afternoon for a second night. The staff was friendly and willing to work with us. Back in February of this year I had just completed EOD and then Patrol K9 training at the Boston Police Department?s K9 Academy for my dual purpose malinios. I needed to burn vacation time and was not about to leave my dog up in the cold for a month while I headed out for Florida. I loaded the dog on my truck and blasted south down 95 for a month in the sun. I stopped when I ran out of road in Key West. more

Do not buy anything from here. The owners may have many types of animals but, they do not have a clue about care. The boarding hould be shut down. The area is small and they house too many dog for the size. Always ask to see the boarding before u leave Fluffy to stay. Also leave a vets number or you may end up at some vet you dont like. Pampered Pet is a wonderful place to find just about everything you need for any kind of pets. The owners Mike and Jen themselves have dogs, cats, birds, and several exotics and reptiles, so the variety of pets available in the store is very wide. more

Pampered Pet is with out a doubt the best and only reasonable pet store in Key west! I worked there for a while and enjoyed the environment and the staff!! So to the HATER WHO IS COMPLAINING ABOUT THE MESS AND ISLES AND THE FOOD, YOU CAN TAKE YOURSELF UP TO WALTONS AND SEE HOW HIGH THE PRICE CAN GET!!! AND STOP RUNNING YOUR MOUTH!! more

The store looks good. Do not board your loved pet here. If you are considering boarding, make sure you go back and see where the dogs are kept and walked. The urine smell is so horrible, it will make you gag. Our pet was boarded when there was only a couple of other dogs in the cages. The large dogs kept outside for canine training purposes spooked our dog horribly. Please do not believe what you read on the website. more

Key Westers love our pets as evidenced by the many pet stores. Pampered pet is a reliable source of supplied for all types of pets, as well as offering grooming and a well respected obedience training program. The staff were great during the chaos of last year's hurricanes as people struggled with evacuating (or not) with their pets. And who doesn't love just going to dote on the cute puppies. more
