I gave this review 4 rather than 5 stars simply because the service was pretty bad. Even though it was a quiet Sunday night, and most of their tables were empty - our waitress took forever getting our order & forgot to bring our dessert! Paloma is a unique restaurant located in a polish part of Brooklyn, Green Point. From the outside you would never guess what you were in for, the doors looking slightly like something out of Santa clause's barn where his sledge is kept! Once your inside it opens up into a bar complemented with a dj which leads through to the restaurant that has a very cozy feel to it and decorated with Basque like art works which adds to the fun that Paloma is. The food is fantastic and well presented, if i had to describe it it reminds me of good home cooking, comfort food, the lamb shank is to good to be true and the portions are not so overwhelming even for America. Paloma also offer a good selection of cocktails as well as white and red wines. Great for birthdays, groups or just a nice romantic night out. Not to be missed! more

It's the best thing I could ask for being a local and wanting a simple 9 dollar burger and a strong minty Myers mojito. The ambiance is chill and comfortable and the menu is delicious and affordable. I go at least twice a week. The menu changes weekly wish fish specials and seasonal salads. What more could a person like me (I don't have time to cook) want? Pros: Late night! And food is affordable and delicious. Cons: Busy so sometimes you wait, but hey. more
