If you have an German car, this is the place 5/11/2006

I have been going here for years, and only regret that I now drive a Volvo, as he does not work on them much. Harold is honest, and does good work, I have had him fix both Mercedes and VW's that I have owned. more

Great Work 4/26/2006

We bring our 1998 VW Jetta to Palo Alto German. Although they are a bit pricey, they do stand behind their work. Before completing work, Harold always calls and discusses it with us. We are not "hard-sold" on any services that we may not need.\r \r They are also able to complete work quickly. more

Trustworthy Auto Repair 4/24/2006

I have an Audi A4 and my husband has a BMW 3-series, and we both take our cars to Palo Alto German for repairs/maintenance. They do great work and Harold the owner is a wealth of information. more

Not a bad deal for Palo Alto and a Waffle Iron 4/21/2006

I've stayed here a couple times on business trips and found that it offers everything I need. The rooms are clean and quiet and the front desk staff has always been helpful. Definitely not a Four Seasons expereince -- it's a motor lodge -- but definitely recommended if you are looking for a value stay in Palo Alto. One benefit is the self serve waffle iron in the breakfast room. It took me a few tries to figure it out, but I can now make myself a killer waffle in the mornings. PROS: Cheap for Palo Alto, clean CONS: all the cons that come with staying in a motor lodge more
