This was the worst experience I have ever had with an MD. She started the history be being very cold and rude with her questions. She then proceeded hastily through the exam. The extent that she performed the heart and lung auscultations should be considered m*lpractice. After performing a male hernia examination, she opened the door while my pants were still lowered. Anybody walking by would have seen me. She then left the room without saying anything. The nurse came in about 10 minutes later wondering where she had went and if we needed to do anything else before I left.
The in-office visit was bad enough, but a few weeks later in the mail, I received a letter from Dr. Pallegar. It stated that my HDL was low at 39/40 and that she suggests that I start a regular exercise routine. If she would have taken 2 minutes to get to know me, she would have realized that I train for triathlons 6 days per week twice per day. I think that is a fairly regular exercise routine. What an 1diot! Avoid at all costs and go to a Dr. that actually cares about your health and isn't in it only for the money.
Pros: Able to get appointment quickly
Cons: Dr. Doesn't care or take the time to do exams correctly
