After having lived in Seattle for 11 years, I FINALLY got to Palisade recently.
For a place that is frequently mentioned among Seattle's best restaurants, I have to say I was a bit disappointed. Nothing was wrong, per se. The food was good, the menu was good, the service was good, it's a beautiful building with a great view, etc. But, I thought it just didn't have any flare or feel and had a chain/corporate edge to it.
A very good restaurant? Yes. One of the best in Seattle and a good value for the price? Close, but not quite.
Pros: Wide menu, good wine list, good food
Cons: Corporate, too expensive, deserts
