Palapas is fantastic! They specialize in Mexican seafood dishes, but have lots of other things if you don't like seafood. The margaritas are fantastic and the bar area is a cool place to hang out. The handle large parties very well with advance notice. more

""It's unfortunate that there isn't an option for zero stars. I've eaten at this restaurant a couple of times. The food was good, but the service was not. My son and his intended decided that they wanted to hold their rehearsal dinner at this restaurant. Unfortunately, we booked it. We were promised the patio. The bride's parents heard this, my significant other heard this, and the bride and groom heard this. The restaurant just called to cancel our reservation for our rehearsal dinner. The ""banquet manager"" told us that we were never promised anything, and that they booked a bigger party, so they bumped us. They waited a week to even let us know (yes, the ""banquet manager"" actually told me this when she called me), and they were rude in the extreme. We will not be visiting this establishment ever again, and if you want to make sure that you can actually hold your event on the day and at the time you've planned, be sure to choose a different restaurant.
