I just attended the Reba, George & LeAnn concert at the palace and it was the greatest. With the 360 stage, not a bad seat in the house. The accoustics were wonderful and the music sounded great! The big screens helped the people sitting back further to see. more

Great Accoustics!!! Best Sounding Outdoor Concerts Here! 4/12/2006

I love this place! Unlike Pine Knob where the sound carries over and out over your heads...Jerome-Duncan really has the speakers set up just right and wherever you are sitting, you always get a clear view of the stage. They are always offering ticket discounts for major entertainers and bands. This is one of my favorite places to go in the summer. They are located on 16 mile road between Gratiot and Van Dyke. Sixteen Mile is also known as Metropolitan Park Drive. more

Great place for activities 12/1/2005

We have visited the palace three times this year for different events and we are always pleased. They seem to have the traffic situation down perfectly. They get you in and out very quickly. They always have enough food vendors that the line is never very long and the place always looks clean, especially the bathrooms more

Great concert location 8/19/2005

This is a great place to see concerts. The seating is never bad no matter where you are located. Parking is not horrible and you will be sure to enjoy any show you are here to see. We have seen concerts and childrens shows as well as sports. The staff also does an excellent job of letting everyone enjoy themselves without taking it too far. more

Outdoor Concerts! 8/16/2005

Formerly known as Freedom Hill, Jerome-Duncan Ford Theatre is a great place to watch an outdoor concert. They have lawn seats and seats under the pavillion for un-cooperative weather. Lots of parking and four concession locations on site to buy sandwiches, snacks and beverages. Do not forget to buy a souvenier before you go to remember the concert forever! more

Go Pistons! 8/16/2005

The Palace of Auburn Hills is the home of the Detroit Pistons. This is an awesome venue for not only basketball games, but also concerts and even game viewing events on "Palacevision" for away games during the playoffs. The palace also has many areas to buy food, as well as a couple of restaurants and lounges to pass the time before a game. If you are really in the mood to party you can rent a suite and watch the game in style! Pleanty of parking on site. more

Championship winning basketball! 8/10/2005

The Palace of Auburn Hills is a must see for the basketball lover. The home of the Detroit Pistons, The Palace is a great place to go for sports enthusiasts, and those who are new to the sport as well. You can get great deals during the regular season for group tickets if you can round up a large enough group of co workers or friends. Just make sure to bring you wallet if you want concessions as at any sporting event a beer can cost you some mega dollars. Everyone should go to The Palace at least once to watch the Pistons play, it'll be an experience to remember. more

  • The Detroit Pistons are a National Basketball Association team in possession of three national championships: in 1989, 1990 and 2004. The team headquarters is located in Auburn Hills, Mich. Detroit's NBA Finals MVP's consist of Joe Dumars in 1989, Isiah Thomas in 1990 and Chauncey Billups in 2004. Other notable players with retired numbers include Vinnie Johnson, Bob Lanier, Dave Bing and Bill Laimbeer. Automobile-piston magnate Fred Zollner launched the club in 1941 and christened it the Fort Wayne Zollner Pistons. The Pistons joined the National Basketball League, a circuit that consisted primarily of teams fielded by Midwest corporations. Following the 1949 playoffs the NBL and BAA merged to form the NBA. The Detroit Pistons are currently a member of the Eastern Conference s Central Division.
